The persons here make it work with keycloak https://qiita.com/wadahiro/items/8b118c34aae904353865 - just translate the page using google works fine for me. We're not going to help bypass Mattermost's business model. Use Rocket.Chat--they offer OAuth authentication in the Community Edition.

Thanks for the answer, is a misunderstanding, we don't want to bypass the business model, we want to use mattermost without gitlab since we use gitlab.com. There is a plan to use self managed gitlab instance. the idea is we want gluu at the center of the authentication service for a global deployment project, cannot use rocket, since mattermost is not only chat for us. the main idea is we use all major cloud providers, and we want gluu to help authenticating and delegating to the cloud providers, rather than using the native authentication providers. in the same context we need to authenticate with our infrastructure tools and apps EG: ansible tower, mattermost, gitlab, ftrack, rdp, teradici, user desktops, etc how do you suggest we proceed further cheers, Mihai
