Hello. I want to use the Cache refresh feature. Setup was done by viewing guide documents and YouTube videos. https://www.gluu.org/docs/ce/4.0/user-management/ldap-sync/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c64l_xmBbvw&feature=youtu.be My LDAP is Ping-DS 6.0.1.2. suffix : c=kr Port : 389 / 636 (LDAPS) User Entry Location: ou=people,c=kr User Entry DN (example): uid=user.1,ou=people,c=kr The settings for Gluu are as follows: ** Custom Backend Key/Attribute Settings - Key attribute: uid - Object Class : inetOrgPerson - Source attribute: mail, giveName, cn, sn Click on the 'Update' button ** Source Backend LDAP Servers Settings - Name: Test - Bind DN: cn=directory manager - Max Connections: 3 - Server:Port : {LDAP HostName}:636 - BaseDN: o=peple,c=kr - Change Bind Password : Set the password "cn=directory manager" - User SSL : Enable - test ldap connection : success. Click on the 'Update' button ** Cache Refresh Settings - Refresh Method : Copy - Add Source Attribute to Destination Attribute mapping uid - uid cn - cn sn - sn giveName - giveName mail - mail - Polling interval (minutes) : 5 - Server IP Address : {Gluu Server IP} - Keep external individuals: Enable - Cache Refresh: Enable - Remaining Defaults Click on the 'Update' button When I set it up here, if I watch YouTube videos, it automatically appears that the data is synchronized to Gluu's LDAP. But my Gluu doesn't work. When I look at Cache Refresh on the Gluu Admin page, nothing appears in the "Last run/Updates at the last run/Problems at the last run." Within oxtrust_cache_refresh.log, only the following messages are taken: 2019-12-15 05:56:13,568 INFO [main] [glu.oxtrust.ldap.cache.service.CacheRefreshTimer] (CacheRefreshTimer.java:151) - Initializing Cache Refresh Timer We wait a long time, but nothing is logged except that log. What's the cause? What did I miss? Thanks to read.

I don't know how to send a log. I checked the log and found only four messages with the same contents. 2019-12-15 04:44:51,576 INFO [main] [gluu.oxtrust.ldap.cache.service.CacheRefreshTimer] (CacheRefreshTimer.java:151) - Initializing Cache Refresh Timer 2019-12-15 05:47:12,478 INFO [main] [gluu.oxtrust.ldap.cache.service.CacheRefreshTimer] (CacheRefreshTimer.java:151) - Initializing Cache Refresh Timer 2019-12-15 05:51:56,697 INFO [main] [gluu.oxtrust.ldap.cache.service.CacheRefreshTimer] (CacheRefreshTimer.java:151) - Initializing Cache Refresh Timer 2019-12-15 05:56:13,568 INFO [main] [gluu.oxtrust.ldap.cache.service.CacheRefreshTimer] (CacheRefreshTimer.java:151) - Initializing Cache Refresh Timer Nothing else is printed out.

@Mohit.Mali: DS Mentoring is a partner. I upgarded their account so they can attach files. Hyunmoo kim: can you attach screenshots of all the tabs, so we can see how you configured cache refresh? Make sure you turn up the logging so we get debug messages too. Also, do you see logs on the backend LDAP servers that might provide more detail on the problem? For example, if you see no access logs on the backend LDAP servers, it might mean that there is a connection issue.

Hi. I was trying to capture the screen today. However, our AWS account was blocked and we were unable to access the test server. So I'm going to test again using servers and VMs from companies other than AWS. We apologize for not being able to respond quickly. We will post again after completing the test for necessary materials. Give me a day's time. Thank you..

I rebuilt the test environment and proceeded to set the Cache Refresh. And now the data is synchronized normally. I don't know the cause, but since the cache refresh function works normally, I don't think there is any more question. If the same symptom occurs, we will share the file after screen capture as guided. Thanks to read.
