I think that I have maybe been asking the wrong questions. I have been looking for IDM features in gluu, and I'm not finding them. I was looking at some gluu server diagrams and it looks like I simply need to hook in an IDM to get what I am looking for. Am I drawing the right conclusion? Are there IDMs you recommend for this?

Hey Paul, yes, you can use the SCIM API to hook into your IDM platform. We are IDM nuetral, but like these two open source projects: [Evolvium Midpoint](https://www.evolveum.com/midpoint/) [Apache Syncope](http://syncope.apache.org/) Please feel free to close this ticket or let us know if you have additional questions. Thanks, Will

Any guides on hooking them up?

Paul, The Gluu Server would be a client to the IDM system, and the interface to hook them up would be LDAP or SCIM 1.1. The integration of an IDM is usually a multi-month project that requires a high level design and custom programming. The Gluu Server is typically just one end-point in the IDM workflow. Unfortunately, we don't have any specific guides published currently. You might want to talk with one of our [integration partners](http://gluu.org/current-partners) if this is a high priority requirement. Feel free to email me at will [at] gluu.org for an introduction. Thanks!
