message.properties file override | Login Page customization

Hi, I tried overriding message.properties by copying property file to /opt/gluu/jetty/oxauth/custom/pages/WEB-INF/classes/messages_en.properties , but this is not getting picked up. What other updates we need to do in order to override message..properties.

Hi Neha, You need to update the messages_en.properties file and restart the server. if it doesn't work than i think you need to update the file in oxauth.war as the page customization works only for xhtml pages. Thanks, Shekhar L.

Hi Neha, I think you should update the file in oxauth.war file as the page customization works only for xhtml pages or you can hardcode the value in xhtml page. Thanks, Shekhar L.

Thanks Shekhar for quick updates. we can hardcode labels of fields like : #{msgs['login.username']} in xhtml, but wanted to know about error messages like user name/password fails.
