Is there any way to sync the Gluu's LDAP user with a external MySQL users database

I'm just wondering if there is a easy way to sync LDAP users in the Gluu server with an external MySQL users database an do it automatically. I will appreciate any peace of advice.

write a cron job to dump the data from MySQL to a temp LDAP server, and then use cache refresh to sync the data?
