Support for Metadata Query Protocol?

I am wondering if Gluu has plans to include the configuration for new Metadata Query (MDQ) Protocol based InCommon's Metadata Distribution Service? I am in InCommon webinar right now, trying to understand what it is and how it works. But, definitely we are going to support it in any way. however, whatever I have understood so far... this is 'early stage' situation and it will take some time to discontinue existing services and implement MDQ-only one. In all cases... InCommon will inform us multiple times with notifications. Will keep you posted. Thanks for your interest!

Although we want to avoid the "bleeding edge", I can see tremendous memory benefits associated with not need to load the entire metadata file, and would be willing to work with as an early adopter, vs going it alone. I was hearing a commitment to limit (if not completely avoid) breaking changes to the service from this point forward.

This will most likely be added to version 4.1. MDQ has been around for years. It's a very simple protocol. InCommon finally got around to implemeting it.

It will be supported from Gluu 5.0.
