Push notification integration with an Android/iOS app

Hey. We are using the Super Gluu app to receive push notifications for authentication for now. But we are planning to integrate the push notification service with our own android/ios application. Is it possible? Does gluu server support it? ** I know about the super gluu "SDK" in React Native releasing next year but I want to know if there is any thing else available that we can use right now.**
