Hi Team, My SP has multiple users(uid) with same email address, so that they can map these users under multiple organizations, but with the same email id. I'm trying to create two users(uid) with same email id. However, gluu is not allowing me to add. Can you help to fix this? I had already raised a ticket #7023 for this issue. In that ticket(#7023), support staff has requested to upgrade from 3.1.2 to 3.1.6 , even after upgrade, the gluu system is not allowing to create 2 different user id with same email address. Also, in forgot password link instead of asking 'User Id', the form is accepting only 'Email Address', which wont solve the purpose. Thanks

Out of the box, it's not possible. There might be some configuration in OpenDJ to do that. Please google with that; hopefully you will found something. If not, please put a comment there... we will assist you as much as possible.

Hi, Tejesh. I provided you answer in your previous ticket. Basically, there are 2 levels where this limitation is enforced: oxTrust (web UI) and OpenDJ (LDAP). Upgrading should have removed the later (at least it's not present in freshly installed 3.1.6; if upgrade script doesn't lift it, then, as Zico says, please try to do a bit of research on OpenDJ's "dsconfig" features, you need to find out how to use it to remove uniqueness from "mail" attribute), and the property I mentioned last time should remove the former.
