Currently, Gluu server can be installed at most on Debian 10 trough the official repository. I have successfully installed it on Debian 11 using the same repository (I know this is not recommended). However, in both cases the version is 4.2.3.Final... When will Gluu server 4.4 be available for Debian (10 or 11), the same way it is available for Ubuntu 20.04? Or is there an alternative like building from source? Docker is a bit of a hassle to get working with LDAP and everything else. I know we could use Ubuntu instead, but we would highly prefer using Debian for simplicity and security reasons.

Hi Todor, I'm not sure what's the exact reason to skip for Debian release. I guess our customers are more comfortable with `ubuntu/centos/rhel`. You may check out the `centos/rhel` installation for better security concerns. I will try to know about the `Debian` release from our team. Will share the update with you later. Regards

There is no commercial reason to support Debian. Community adoption was low to none. And no VIP support customers need it. So we discontinued releasing Debian packages and that is not going to change.
