"Login failed, oxTrust wasn't allow to access user data" problem

Hello, I'm trying to install and configure a new Gluu server (gluu-ce-repo-1.9-0.amd64.deb) on Ubuntu 14.04 but after getting it installed, I am not able to authenticate using the admin user. I end up getting taken to the main home screen with the text: "Login failed, oxTrust wasn't allow to access user data" This is shown right after the "Allow" screen.
