We have installed Gluu at our university and are in the beginning stages of testing it. One question we had was around the step to disable SELinux. This seems like a major red flag to us, seeing as how this would be the authentication gateway for the entire university. Can you provide us with additional information as to why SELinux needs to be disabled and/or what we can do to modify SELinux so that Gluu works and it can be left on?

Hi Brendan McFree, The working of services with SELINUX is work in progress. We'll be posting instructions in coming times. But for now SELINUX needs to be off for working of the gluu-server. --- Thanks Ganesh

Do you have an estimate as to when SELinux will be supported? So far we really like Gluu, but I don't know if we would roll it into production without having SELinux enabled. Thank you.

You can try it with SELinux and we'll try to help you.
