Does Passport component requires access to LDAP?

We are building Gluu setup where various components are deployed on their own machines. We are going to use namely these: - oxAuth - oxTrust - Passport We are not sure if Passport component also needs to access LDAP or not. Please clarify.

Great, thanks! So, we need ldap proxy on each node, no matter which component is deployed.
