Problem in installing Gluu IDP server on ubuntu

I am trying to install Gluu server one of Ubuntu machine by followoing the below URL: https://gluu.org/docs/ce/installation-guide/install/#run-setuppy but getting below error while executing step #3: Install oxAuth OAuth2 Authorization Server? [Yes] : Yes Install oxTrust Admin UI? [Yes] : Yes Install LDAP Server? [Yes] : Yes Traceback (most recent call last): File "./setup.py", line 3700, in <module> installObject.promptForProperties() File "./setup.py", line 2394, in promptForProperties option=self.getPrompt(prompt_text, options[0]) IndexError: list index out of range Although I searched forum and found one of related ticket but after looking in to it in deep found not exactly matched. Any help will be highly appriciated. Thanks.

Hi Amit, I just tested gluu-server-3.1.6 package installation and it was ok. Seems some issue in your side. Could you please post here command you used to install gluu-server-3.1.6. Thanks, Davit

Hi Davit, Thanks for the response. Let me start again from scratch and I will let you know. Actually the machine is an aws ec2 instance (Ubuntu). Thanks.

Dear Support Team, Thanks for the support. I am following the below installation guide: https://gluu.org/docs/ce/installation-guide/ And query is: Do we really need to add the values for the **address, netmask, network, broadcast, gateway, and dns-nameservers of the network**, as the default values are only as below: //deffault content in network file ** source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*.cfg** Here my concern is only, if I run application in AWS autoscalling mode then firstly I have to create by following "Preparing VM for Gluu Server Installation" steps and create image of the same and Up the VM from same image. So if these changes, the address, netmask, network, broadcast, gateway, and dns-nameservers of the network are mandatory. Please suggest. Thanks for the prompt support. Amit
