Very sorry if I missed information about this in the docs or older forum posts. What is the best way to handle the IP address of the dev server running Gluu changing. * I regenerated the SSL certificates * Updated the vhost settings * Updated the hosts files * I tried updating the java keystore based on a forum post (it's possible I messed this up I am not a java dev) Once the above is complete I cleared all cookies (just in case). I then get the login screen but all I get after logging in is: *System Error. Please try again or contact a Gluu administrator for help.* Followed by: *Welcome to your Gluu Identity Appliance!* *Your federation service is live! Here are some of the features this appliance provides:* All looks good in wrapper.log (No warnings or errors). What am I messing up? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

A few thoughts: - The certs are keystore are tied to the hostname, not the ip address - You are correct that you may want to check the apache directives - Referencing your gluu server by ip address will not work--you need to use hostnames. If necessary, update the hostname in the chroot container, the host system and your local laptop (for testing in your browser). - It does seem like its an apache error... that the server is not seeing the request. Did you see anything in the apache logs in the chroot container?

Thank You for the fast reply. I think the following happened. - My IP address changed - I updated my hosts file - I got SSL error in browser and automatically assumed my certificates were messed up but the real problem was probably with the vhost setting (which I did not notice till later) The following steps fixed my problem: - I reverted the certificates (I backed them up) - I restarted the gluu server - At this point I no longer got the error message but also got no menu items (except home, login, register) or anything after the "Your federation service is live! Here are some of the features this appliance provides:". Clicking login at this point yielded a blank page with just the footer. Perhaps something was cached? - Nothing weird in any log file, apache or tomcat - I restarted the gluu server again - Magic all is working Thank You for Your help, sorry to have wasted Your time.
