Are there any available options to configure more than 1 gluu server instance for fail over or backup?

Hey Todd, We're about release a new cluster version of the Gluu Server. We've built API's for deploying docker-ized Gluu services. This new version of the Gluu Server leverages a product called "[Weave](http://weave.works/)", which builds a secure network mesh between the docker hosts. We plan on releasing this as a commercial product, but it's currently free to test in beta. We'd love some feedback: [Cluster docs](http://gluu.org/docs-cluster) Thanks, Will

I see according to the install doc for cluster, there's a master and consumer install. The consumer install should be a on a separate machine correct? The doc doesn't really state that, and it uses the same IP for the master.

You can install oxauth, oxtrust or ldap nodes on the master. The main difference is the master has the extra packages for the salt master, prometheus monitoring, and its where you run gluu-flask. These packages aren't released yet. We are still finishing the documentation and making some changes to the packages. Stay tuned!
