I already configured SMTP server configration in Gluu server instance and also enable Self-service password reset and test SMTP configration . It succeed and send "SMTP Server Configuration Verification Successful" to provided email address in SMTP configration. But when i click on forgot password and enter user mail for receiving reset link , but still not receiving any reset mail. But if i enter mail id which is not registered in LDAP then it send mail to that address with following text :" You (or someone else) entered this email when trying to change the password of ebctech identity server account. However this email address is not on our database of registered users and therefore the attempted password change has failed. If you are a ebctech identity server user and were expecting this email, please try again using the email address you gave when registering your account. If you are not ebctech identity server user, please ignore this email. "

Hi **singh**, I just tested the email functionality now. It is working as expected(see the attachment video). Can you provide the log file so that we can check? `/opt/gluu/jetty/identity/logs/oxtrust.log`

You can find log [File](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sQ3NR5wb6UzspPVVjMow6LyJvFK5rXeP/view?usp=sharing) Actually functionality is also working on my instance till yesterday but due to some problems i reinstall gluu server and again configure all but now i am facing issue. As I already mentioned it send mails to users which are not registered in LDAP with above mentioned content but cannot send any mail to registered users

Hi, I can see this from log: ``` 2018-05-08 11:33:30,040 ERROR [qtp985655350-73] [org.xdi.service.MailService] (MailService.java:105) - Failed to send message javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 535 Authentication failed: Bad username / password ``` This kind of issue is out of scope with the support portal. SMTP configuration is no out business, same thing for gluu customization. Thanks, Gasmyr.

yes i check the logs and finds same . Can you tell that is this failed to authenticate my SMTP server credential ? or ny other credential? Also can you share how to clear cache of gluu server so that all previous saved passwords are removed

The error message is clear, the credentials provide is not correct. You should use a correct credentials. I'm closing this ticket. Thanks, Gasmyr.
