LDAP Configuration

hello GLUU Team, we dont have any existing active directory or any LDAP Server and also we are first time using GLUU for the LDAP. We want to create/configure GLUU LDAP Server from scratch. Please guide us from the beginning so that we may able to complete the task. we have gone through the tutorial available on gluu.org but unable to understand how to proceed with configuration of LDAP through GLUU. Thanks in advance

Hi Kumar, > We want to create/configure GLUU LDAP Server from scratch **What to you mean, can explain?** Note that gluu ship with LDAP and it is use to store identity information. During Gluu installation you can choose which ldap implemetation(OpenDJ or OpenLDAP) to use.

we chose OpenDJ during installation. then how to configure LDAP.

> then how to configure LDAP. To achieve what? As part of gluu installation , ldap is setup and configure to work with other gluu services. If after installation you can access gluu Admin Ui it just mean that ldap is working well too as the information come from there.
