Had a disk full situation on my vm based gluu server, removed log files (separate ticket to clarfiy how to set up rolling appender). But now I'm getting 'service not available', and the oxtrust log indicates "Failed to load application configuration from file: /etc/gluu/conf/oxtrust-config.json" And indeed all that's left in the /etc/gluu/conf directory is: `ido2 gluu.properties passport-config.json salt gluu-ldap.properties oxTrustLogRotationConfiguration.xml radius shibboleth3` Woudln't think that a disk full issue would cause the loss of existing files...but thought I'd ask if I'm doing something stupid here.

Removing log files 'only' will never create issue with your appliance. >> and the oxtrust log indicates "Failed to load application configuration from file: /etc/gluu/conf/oxtrust-config.json" Most probably your ldap isn't running or crashing. When server can't read data from ldap, it tries to get configuration from config files ( i.e. oxtrust-config.json which is invalid anyway ). Fix ldap, restart appliance; you should be good to go.

Copied the file from /install/community-edition-setup/output/oxauth-config.json to /etc/gluu/conf, then restarted gluu with /sbin/gluu-serverd restart Confirmed that this file didn't exist before though...so strange that this was needed. Guys from centroxy say that perhaps it was related to ladp or another piece. Bottom line, we're back up, so we can close the case.

>> Copied the file from /install/community-edition-setup/output/oxauth-config.json to /etc/gluu/conf, then restarted gluu with /sbin/gluu-serverd restart You don't need this file to operate Gluu Server; that's why we didn't put that inside container. During installation setup script 'read' this file and make proper ldap configuration and push that inside Gluu Server's LDAP. Gluu Server always load configs from LDAP; that's the base. >> Guys from centroxy say that perhaps it was related to ladp or another piece. They are 100% correct. Definitely it's ldap or another piece.
