It's working. What I did was just apply it in custom.schema, no need to create a new directory for config. Just update your documentation :) There's a lot of dead links and some minor things needed to edit.

I'll test it out if the attribute really works. I was able to register it and use it as a custom ID

Working, I was able to assign the custom nameID to my Trust Relationship. I'll setup the Google SSO and report back.
