I updated my Gluu from version 3.1.5 to version 4.1 and after that, when I login with one of my SP, I receive the user's data in a different format than in version 3.1.5. My questions are: Is this a normal behavior? Is there a way to send the user's data in the same way as in version 3.1.5.

Hello Alejandro, >> when I login with one of my SP, I receive the user's data in a different format than in version 3.1.5. Can you please describe a bit? Will be helpful for us to understand.

What I mean is that in Gluu version 3.1.5, when I Login from my service provider (SP), after the Authentication process, Gluu send me the user info in a particular format, for example, the given_name and the family_name are strings, while in the version 4.1, the given_name and family_name are arrays of 1 element.

Gluu Server always follow the standard. i.e. Sending urn values between SP and IDP instead of 'string' for any attribute. However... there is definitely one change between 3.1.x and 4.x versions; Shibboleth version; newer shibboleth version might have some changes from core but in Gluu we just follow what Shibboleth team declare as 'Standard'.
