Upgrate from Gluu 3.1.2 to Gluu 4.5

Our current version is Gluu 3.1.2 with ubuntu os version 16. we want upgrate to 4.5 stable version. can you please guide us or share the steps how to do this with data migration? we have spin new machine which way will be feasible 1). setup gluu 3.1.2 and upgrate os and then upgrate gluu 4.5 (please share the steps for this) 2). direct setup new Gluu 4.5 and migrate data from old machine (please share how to data migrate) 3). please share other easy way with steps

HI @Mobarak Hosen.Shakil we are using free open source Gluu 3.1.2 with SAML. can we upgrade that to Gluu 4.5 as a free of cost?

No, Gluu Server is behind Paywall. You have to purchase our service for further proceeding with Gluu Server. For free of cost: 1. Either you can deploy [Janssen Server](https://docs.jans.io) 2. Or build by yourself using each gluu component which are available for free in [GitHub](https://github.com/GluuFederations) I recommend you to go with Janssen Server.

I reffered Gluu Server 4.5 doc. there mentioned > The Gluu Server is a container distribution of **free open source** software (FOSS) for identity and access management (IAM). SaaS, custom, open source and commercial web and mobile applications can leverage a Gluu Server for user authentication, identity information, and policy decisions. https://gluu.org/docs/gluu-server/4.5/ in Doc what is the meaning of free open source, I am confuced there? We have setup Gluu 3.1.2 in our linux machine.

Mamata, Our code is open source, not binaries. If you want to use any deb/rpm, you have to purchase support plan. No worries, you don't have to ruin your budget to use our software. If you check our website which is https://www.gluu.org.... You will see a section named "Flex / Gluu 4 Pricing" ( Screenshot attached ). May be you can book a call and discuss further plan?
