you mention on your blog post that openldap supports replication: > > Symas OpenLDAP Gluu Edition > > Symas has graciously agreed to provide a free open build of the OpenLDAP server, called Symas OpenLDAP Gluu Edition, that includes some of the features needed to maintain parity with OpenDJ. The modules include audit logging, replication, virtual list views, referential integrity and support for bcrypt password hashing. The distribution is made available under the free open source GNU General Public License. Is there documentation how to turn on replication with openldap? We a currently thinking about migrating from 2.3.4 to 3.* but I did not find documentation on how to build a cluster with openldap replication. Is there any yet?

Hi Stefan, Replication section is under construction for 3.x. We will inform you when it's ready with documentation.

Stefan, OpenLDAP replication is pretty well documented by [Symas](https://symas.com/) and on the Internet in general. Symas also sells support contracts, and we encourage you to engage their excellent team. Gluu is working on some software to simply the deployment of clusters, which will include a GUI for managing OpenLDAP replication and centralized logging. - Mike
