Backup Architecture

Hi, We have just upgraded the Gluu Server from 3.0.2 to 3.1.3.1. Before this upgrade we used the online slapcat backup procedure on the active server and we have a offline backup on a second server. We used a cache-refresh between the active and the backup server. For the version 3.1.3.1, which is the best practice for the backup? Thanks in advance
